MEET THE MAKER

I have always had an interest in leatherwork and shooting which led inevitably to me producing leather items which I have now sold to shooters, collectors, re-enactors and film companies around the world.

My aim is to recreate the strength and durability of original leatherwork, much of which has lasted well over 100 years. For this reason, for my gun leather I use vegetable tanned leather which I cut and hand dye and then stitch either by hand or with a traditional harness machine giving an extremely strong seam and an authentic appearance. Items are then oiled, waxed and polished by hand.

This hand-made process takes time and skill, compared with modern manufacturing methods but I think that the finished result is well worth the effort.

I am constantly making new items to add to my catalogue; this is largely driven by requests from my customers. I am always happy to consider new projects so, if there is something in particular you want, then please just ask me.

Also, the design of items in my catalogue can often be modified to suit, if required.

I’m developing a range of contemporary items that combine traditional elements with elegant style and an eye for usability in the 21st Century.
